Stanley Black & Decker has announced the appointment of Deborah K. Wintner as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective August 1, 2024. Wintner will join the executive team, reporting directly to Donald Allan, Jr., President & CEO, succeeding John T. Lucas.

In her new role, Wintner will lead Stanley Black & Decker’s human resources strategy, focusing on recruitment, leadership development, and ensuring the company remains a top choice for talent in the industry. “Deborah’s appointment to global CHRO represents an exciting career journey at Stanley Black & Decker,” said Allan. “Over the last six years, she has proven herself as an innovative leader with a passion for nurturing talent to deliver business results.”

Her previous roles have equipped her with a robust skill set in organizational development, making her a cornerstone in driving business transformations.
