MITRE has announced the appointment of April Castañeda as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She will lead MITRE’s human capital strategy, talent development, and workplace culture.
With over 25 years of HR leadership experience, Castañeda specializes in workforce transformation, leadership development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Before MITRE, she held senior HR roles at RAND Corporation, where she led talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
