Allstate has officially appointed Andréa Carter as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Vice President, effective May 12. Carter will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent development, workforce engagement, and organizational growth.

With nearly three decades of experience, Carter has a strong track record in leading global human capital strategies and promoting high-performing workplace cultures. Before joining Allstate, she served as the CHRO at Global Payments Inc., where she led talent development and employee engagement across a global workforce.
Her career includes leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity, Ralph Lauren, Newell Rubbermaid, and The Home Depot. She currently serves on the board of Churchill Downs Inc. and holds a degree from Tennessee State University.
