With her extensive experience and leadership skills, Adams will oversee human resources and labor relations, reporting directly to CEO Mark George. Along with her appointment, PC Bryant has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to Adams.

Adams’ journey with Norfolk Southern began in 2001 when she joined as a Manager in Human Resources. Over the years, her ability to drive transformation and align the organization with its goals has propelled her to key roles, including Chief Transformation Officer. She has successfully led initiatives such as national rail labor negotiations and the relocation of Norfolk Southern’s headquarters. Adams’ leadership extends beyond Norfolk Southern, serving on several boards, including Specialty Building Products and the Midtown Improvement District.
