Elliot Vaughn, a seasoned leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and People Chair for the firm’s operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America (EMEASA). Vaughn, who joined BCG in 2005, brings extensive expertise in healthcare, social impact, and diverse industry sectors, including energy, financial services, media, retail, and industrial goods.
Since becoming a Managing Director and Partner in 2013, and later a Senior Partner in 2021, Vaughn has played a pivotal role in driving business strategy and fostering inclusivity. Within BCG, he has been an advocate for diversity, leading Pride@BCG, the firm’s global LGBTQ+ network, which now spans 750 members across 80 offices. Beyond his corporate contributions, Vaughn founded and chairs GiveOut, a charity supporting global LGBTQ+ advocacy, and serves on the board of OutRight Action International. In recognition of his efforts, Vaughn was awarded an MBE in 2023.
As CHRO, Vaughn will oversee HR management, labor relations, and inclusivity policies, furthering BCG’s commitment to empowering its people.
