At a recent HR tech summit, experts from Oracle and Anantara Hotels revealed how artificial intelligence (AI) is driving revolutionary changes in HR, reshaping employee engagement, and improving operational efficiency. This timely discussion highlighted the growing need for HR professionals to embrace AI or risk being left behind. 

AI in HR Analytics 

Chandra Shekhar Shri Kumar, Director of People and Culture at Anantara Hotels and Resorts, shared compelling insights on how AI is transforming HR analytics. “In the past, we counted on spreadsheets, which limited our ability to identify trends. Today, AI allows us to track everything from skill gaps to employee retention in real-time,” Chandra noted, underscoring AI’s impact on decision-making. 

Improving Employee Experience with AI-Driven Platforms 

AI is also enhancing employee interactions with HR through digital platforms. Routine tasks like leave requests and documentation are managed seamlessly via apps, allowing employees to access these services from anywhere. This shift supports hybrid work models and boosts employee satisfaction. 

AI in Recruitment and Candidate Matching 

Another significant benefit of AI in HR is its ability to streamline recruitment. According to Chandra, AI tools now help sift through thousands of applications, matching the best candidates based on keywords. It has dramatically reduced the time spent reviewing resumes, leading to quicker, more efficient hiring processes. 

Oracle’s Vision: AI-Driven HR Solutions 

Laith Najar, HR Strategy Director at Oracle, discussed the future of AI in HR, highlighting automation, data analytics, and personalization as critical trends. He demonstrated how AI is automating routine tasks like performance reviews, allowing HR teams to focus on strategic initiatives. “AI is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity for future-proofing HR,” Laith stated.

Both experts agreed that AI will play an increasingly crucial role in HR, driving automation and personalization while unlocking data-driven insights that enhance employee management.
