Frederick County’s residents now have easier access to essential health and human service resources, thanks to the Mental Health Association’s new online database. Aimed at helping locals find the services they need, this digital resource replaces the physical newsletter that was once available before the pandemic.
A Comprehensive Database of Local Resources
The newly launched online guide includes 22 categories of community services, ranging from housing and healthcare to financial assistance. The goal is to provide residents with a one-stop shop for local resources that improve their well-being. Whether you need housing support or healthcare services, this digital tool brings them together in one place.
Rebuilding a Familiar Resource
For years, the Mental Health Association’s physical guide helped locals navigate available services. With the pandemic changing how services are accessed, the online database brings that same trusted guide to a wider audience. “We’re hoping the database will serve the same purpose and be just as helpful,” said Suzi Borg, Director of Crisis Services.
A Valuable Resource for the Community
This database is more than just a list of services, it’s a lifeline for those who need immediate access to support. Whether it’s healthcare, housing, or financial assistance, the new system aims to make finding help as straightforward as possible.
